Cotton prices steady

Mumbai, Apr 26 : Barring Punjab-J-34 and LRA, cottonprices remained flat today on scattered demand from industrial users, traders at the Cotton Association of India (CAI) said.

Cotton varieties like Punhab-J-34 and LRA Bengal Desi (RG) advanced by Rs 200 per candy each on better buying support from industrial users.
Following are the cotton rates per candy (335.62 kg) in Rupees.
Bengal Desi (RG) Rs 47,700.
Bengal Desi (SG) Rs 48,400 V-797 Rs 39,100 Karnataka Jayadhar Rs 43,400 Y-1 N.T.
Punjab-J-34 Rs 54,800 NHH-4 NT LRA Rs 47,700 H-4 Rs 52,000 S-6-A Rs 56,000 Bunny Brahma Rs 58,200 MCU-5 Rs 61,000 DCH Rs 63,300 ICC Rs 76,000.
